Chautauqua Park

The Flatirons are the slanting massive slabs of sandstone that form Boulders backdrop. Take a drive-up Flagstaff Mountain via Flagstaff Drive in Boulder for scenic overlooks and the easiest way up to the top. Inside the park are heaps of trails ranging in difficulty.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain is one of Colorado's many jewels! It is a scenic one-hour drive from Boulder with many trail and hiking options for all levels. We recommend getting to the park entrance at/before opening to avoid lines, and book timed entry well in advance!
